A view of the pool deck just outside of the living room area. The entire pool area is surrounded by dense jungle, so there's a great deal of privacy and there's also a small lawn area which adds nicely to the usable space.
This is a view of the second row of 3 bedroom villas. You can see how they are built to maximize the view from the master bedrooms and from the pools and decks out front.
The landscaping is quite nice through the entire area. Many of the old-growth trees have been left in place through the development.
The entrances to the 4 bedroom villas are actually from higher up on the hill, so it appears that the villas are very small. Actually, the main body of the villa extends below farther down the hill.
This is the view from the entryway drive. The developer has left most of the old-growth trees in place where possible, so while they provide some welcome shade, they do unfortunately obstruct some views.
Kamala Hills Naka is located on a quiet back road just on the way into Kamala. It's high on a hill, which gives some of the higher villas sea views.

The Kamala Naka villas are located on the old street between Patong and Kamala. Although it was once the main road, it is now just another little side street off of the main avenue and is very quiet. It runs up over the hill, so toward the top, you get good views of the surrounding mountains and even Kamala beach in the distance.
The rental villas themselves are located on the Northern Kamala facing slope of the hill, so you get the ocean views from the upper floors. The area is also surprising quiet given how close it is to Patong and Kamala. In fact, in seven years living here, I had never taken this particular road.
The interior of the villa development is built up the side of the hill, so the villas are actually accessed from their top floor with the rest of the villa extending down along the hillside. All the villas have great pools. The four bedroom villas have pools large enough to do laps in while the three bedroom villas have smaller pools, but with better views.
