The Plantation is another of the vertical developments that offer apartments for rent in Phuket that take advantage of the still free hillsides and the great views that they afford. Built on the seaward facing side of the southern Kamala cape, The Plantation certainly has a great view. The downside, of course, is that there are plenty of steps and a limited amount of open areas.

As is typical with the hillside designs, The Plantation has a nice pool, gym, and public area at the very top of the development on the crest of the hill. The apartments up front get the great views, and the public areas take advantage of the easier to use flat spaces at the top of the hill. The only downside is that it means that every time you want to go swimming, get to your car, or just go for a bit of a walk, you’ll have to go up several flights of stairs. Is the gorgeous view worth the extra climbing--most definitely.
