The apartments are nestled into the side of the Kamala hillside. The surrounding rainforest is still untouched by other developments. The nighttime calls and early morning mists make it seem that you're much farther from civilization than the five minute drive to Kamala it actually is.
The largest of the four pools, located at the bottom of the hillside, has a large deck area with plenty of sun loungers. There is also a small outdoor dining area just opposite.
The pools are built in an interested terraced design that gives each level of villas, which are built on a hill, immediate access to the pools. It also provides a nice amount of privacy on the different levels.
The design of the landscaping is an interesting blend of natural features with modern ones. The waterfall has a mix of almost utilitarian shapes interspersed with more naturally laid rocks. Palms and other trees surround walkways that wind their way among the different pools--it's actually pretty cool.
There are four pools in the common area: 1 family pool, 2 lap pools, and a children's pool. The family pool is at the bottom, with two smaller lap pools forming terraces above it. Waterfall features, walkways, and a bridge connect the spaces together into something like a water park.
The striking layout of the developments with sharp angles and a modern feel is evident throughout the common areas.
